Goodrise assists Leiden University Green Office in research for more sustainable higher education

Students at Leiden University would like to see their study programme pay more attention to sustainability. This is evident from a representative survey of more than 550 students at Leiden University, carried out by the Leiden University Green Office (LUGO) in cooperation with Goodrise. More than three quarters of the students surveyed think their university should play a more active role in promoting sustainability.

LUGO took the initiative to conduct the survey in order to better support Leiden University's governing bodies and co-participation bodies in making the education offered more sustainable. For example, the department is involved in drafting the new university institutional plan and the sustainability vision. It is also a partner to bounce ideas off for members of Programme Committees and Faculty Councils who are enthusiastic about sustainability.

The results of the survey, broken down by faculty and study programme, can be found on the website of Leiden University Green Office.
